The story of George F. Riley's vision and Farmington Hills' determination to make Riley Skate Park one of the most impressive skate parks in the Midwest. The park allows for kids of all ages to skate in a safe and challenging place any time of the year.
Riley Skate Park is a new in 2009 world-class outdoor skateboard facility in Farmington Hills made possible by the generous donations of George F. Riley and the Riley Foundation. The 29,000 square foot professionally designed park is loaded with some of the most extreme and unique elements found in the country, including an MLK Ledge made famous at Martin Luther King High School in Miami. Farmington Hills’ vision for the park is to provide un-equaled opportunities for kids and families in the community. In doing so they’ve made Riley Skate Park free to skate for all ages.
